So I'm visiting Swat right now, getting ready to leave for Ecuador. It's been a crazy wonderful visit so far! It's really weird being on campus with no classes and no room to go home to. Visiting has been really good for me though. It's given me a chance to see people again, see my friends who were abroad last semester, and realize that I'm ready to go. Just being on campus has made it easier to go, because somehow I can feel that I'm not supposed to be here for this semester. The energy about the place, and me, are both different, and I'm starting to think I made the right decision. I'm going to miss everyone terribly, but it's going to be an adventure.
Speaking of adventures, Evelyn, Tori, Nora, Karen, and I all went to Borders to get books (I totally had forgotten I needed a Spanish-English dictionary!!) I also got a travel book for Ecuador and a phrasebook of South American Spanish. It's almost unreal thinking that in a week's time I'll be in another country! We then went to Bertucci's for dinner, which was amaaaazing! On the way back, Ev, Karen, and I stopped by the Blue Church while Nora and Tori went to Genuardi's. It was really cool seeing so many people at the retreat, and Katie Camillus (who was in Ecuador on a different program last semester) introduced me to a girl from Quito (the city I'll be staying in). Her name was Analiz, and we traded contact info so that I'll have contact with her family while I'm there! It's so amazing, I've been getting all these contacts with Ecuador! It's kinda crazy.
Well, now I have a blog, and you can all stalk me if you like! I will try to update as much as possible (not sure how often I'll be stopping by internet cafes). So... yay! =)

Anyways, I hope everything goes well in Ecuador! All of us will miss you just as much as you'll probably miss us, so keep your spirits up!
